NATTA warns it will stop selling Thailand tour packages if visa process is not improved

The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has warned that it will stop selling Thailand tour packages if the process for Thai tourist visas is not made easier.
NATTA said Nepali travelers and tourism businesses are facing major financial risk due to impractical hassles and excessive delays in Thailand's tourist visa process. It said businesses' investments are at risk because of the visa delays.
NATTA has also warned that if the visa process is not improved, it will blacklist Thailand for Nepali outbound tourism and halt tourism activities related to the country.
Thailand is one of the top destinations for Nepali tourists traveling abroad.
