Katari sweeps both titles at U-17 national rugby championship

Katari Municipality won both the women's and men's titles at the second Shikhar Dhakal Memorial U-17 T1 national rugby competition held in Sindhuli.

In Monday's finals at Khangsang in Phikkal Rural Municipality, Katari defeated host Phikkal in both categories. Katari won the women's final 1-0 and the men's final 2-1.

Champions Katari received a trophy along with 30,000 rupees in each category. Sanamika Magar was named best player in the women's category, and Shishir Dhakal in the men's category.
