PM Relief Fund balance crosses Rs 17 billion after Bhotekoshi flood, Rs 1 billion disbursed

Following the flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa, financial contributions continue to come in to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief and Rescue Fund and the Prime Minister Relief Fund. In the meantime, the balance in the Prime Minister Relief Fund has crossed Rs 17 billion.

The government has already disbursed Rs 1 billion from the fund's collected amount for the flood-affected areas.

Nagarik has noted that even though more than Rs 17 billion has been collected in the fund, only Rs 1 billion has been disbursed so far.
