Work on the Hetauda–Dhalkebar 400 kV transmission line, which had been stalled for 12 years, has reached its final stage. The Nepal Electricity Authority is preparing to charge the line right after Dashain, once it completes construction of the two remaining multi-circuit towers.

Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha inspected the Hetauda–Dhalkebar 400 kV substation. During the inspection, he received updates on the progress of the two multi-circuit towers under construction.

After the inspection, Minister Shrestha said the transmission line would come into operation right after Dashain.

Once the line, whose construction was halted for a long time, becomes operational, the project that has remained incomplete for 12 years will be completed.
