Sunsari drug recovery case: Armed Police claims viral video is misleading

The Armed Police Force has clarified a video that went viral on social media regarding an incident of drug recovery from a motorcycle in Sunsari.

On Kartik 4, a joint team of the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police had recovered a motorcycle carrying various types of drugs from Sunsari.

After the recovery, a video showing security personnel placing a black plastic bundle on the motorcycle spread on social media. Following this, personnel were accused of having planted the drugs on the motorcycle themselves.

The Armed Police Force has issued a clarification on the matter. According to the force, misleading propaganda was spread on social media to implicate the security personnel in connection with this incident. The force has made its position public regarding what actually happened during the recovery operation.
