The Tamang Heritage Trail in Rasuwa and the Ruby Valley Trail in Dhading have reopened for tourists. The trail, damaged by floods on the Bhotekoshi River on Bhadra 10, has resumed operation after a temporary suspension bridge was built at Syafrubesi.

Balaram Neupane, chair of the Rasuwa-Nuwakot Tourism Society, said the movement of tourists has become possible again now that the bridge is in place.

About 1,000 domestic and foreign tourists trek this trail every year. The roughly seven- to ten-day trek offers views of Tibetan-influenced Tamang lifestyle, stone-carved houses, wooden windows, monasteries and mani walls.

The trail runs from Syafrubesi in Aamachhodingmo Rural Municipality through Bahundanda, Goljung and Gatlang towards Parvatikunda.
