RSP launches 'We Are Coming' campaign from Dhadingbesi

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has launched its 'Hami Aaudaichau' (We Are Coming) campaign to hold direct dialogue with citizens.
RSP Dhading organised the launch programme in Dhadingbesi on Tuesday, Ashwin 20. Party spokesperson and House of Representatives member Jagdish Kharel said the campaign was started with the aim of ending the practice of reaching voters only at election time.
According to him, the main objective of the campaign is to directly understand citizens' problems, aspirations and views on elected representatives. He said the team has gone to households because the growing distance between Singha Durbar and ordinary citizens makes it difficult to understand people's joys and sorrows.
Kharel said suggestions gathered from discussions with leaders and cadres at the ward level will be used in the party's policy formulation and organisational improvement.
He said MPs should not limit themselves to their own constituencies but should raise the issues of citizens across the country. Noting that he saw roads and bridges damaged by floods on the way to Dhading, he said such infrastructure should be rebuilt quickly.
Along with Kharel, MPs Basumaya Tamang and Dr Ram Lama are also taking part in the campaign.
