Oli directs party to set aside differences and prepare for local elections

CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has directed the party to manage minor internal differences and focus on preparing for the upcoming local elections.
He gave the instruction while addressing, via video conference, secretariat members of provincial and district committees from Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces on Asoj 14.
Chair Oli said ordinary disagreements and criticism within the party should be taken in stride. He said the tendency to tolerate attacks from rivals but not accept criticism from one's own colleagues must end.
He stressed that instead of claiming the party has no problems, the organization needs to be made more disciplined and active.
He claimed that although opponents hope UML will split, the party remains united in ideology and organization.
