Kakarbhitta–Laukahi road's eastern section 52 percent complete

The Kakarbhitta–Laukahi road is being built under the Asian Highway with the aim of connecting the main trade route of eastern Nepal to the international road network. So far, 52 percent of the work on its eastern section has been completed.

Once this road is built, the trade route of eastern Nepal will be connected to the international road network.

According to the project, four months are still remaining. The target is to complete 90 percent of the work by then. "Four months are still remaining. The target is to complete 90 percent of the work by that time," the concerned official said.
