Central transmission line brings electricity to remote Temkemaiyung in Bhojpur

A central electricity transmission line has reached remote settlements in Temkemaiyung Rural Municipality-6 in Bhojpur. Homes that had long waited for electricity are now getting lit up.
Residents of various settlements in this geographically large ward are now beginning to connect to information and communication through the internet and television. Previously, the lack of electricity had kept residents of these settlements away from access to information and communication.
Local resident Balbahadur Rai said the absence of electricity used to make it difficult for children's studies and for grinding and milling local produce. He said studying for children, household work and running small enterprises have now become easier.
Ward chairperson Suryaprasad Nepal said that by prioritising electricity expansion, results were achieved even with a limited budget.
