Minister Gautam pledges to secure budget to control Narayani river erosion

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sabita Gautam visited various locations in Bharatpur and Madi of Chitwan and listened to the problems and grievances of local residents.

During the visit, Minister Gautam inspected areas affected by erosion from the Narayani River in particular. She pledged to take initiatives to resolve the erosion problem.

Minister Gautam said she would ensure a budget to control the Narayani erosion. She also expressed interest in resolving the problems faced by Madi.

Erosion from the Narayani River has been affecting settlements and farmland in Bharatpur and Madi.
