Most of the obstructions on Mustang's Beni-Jomsom-Korala road have been cleared, but containers that entered via the Korala border point remain stuck at Nhechung customs.

Rain from Asoj 8 to 11 caused landslides and erosion at 46 locations along the Maldhunga-Beni-Jomsom-Korala section of the Kaligandaki corridor. According to the Kaligandaki Corridor Road Project, the road has been reopened at most locations, including Latakhola, Dana, Ghasa and Kagbeni, after clearing landslides.

At places affected by river erosion, such as Lamakhet, Begkhola, Bhirkate and Nachyang, traffic has been restored using gabion walls, filling work, and new tracks. The road is expected to fully reopen within a week once the remaining obstructions are cleared.

According to Mustang Customs Office chief Bidur Chudal, more than 150 containers are stuck at the customs yard in Lomanthang Rural Municipality-4, of which about 90 percent have completed inspection and clearance. Even though cleared, goods imported from China cannot be delivered to their destinations due to the road obstruction. The blockage has fully disrupted trade through the northern Korala border point.
