Preparations for NPL third season at Kirtipur ground in final stage

Work to upgrade and manage the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur for the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) has reached its final stage.
With the tournament about three weeks away, work on infrastructure and management at the ground has been stepped up, said Paras Khadka, secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). He said the plan is to finish all work and be fully ready for the tournament by Dashain.
Each edition is bigger than the last, so preparations are being made to give spectators, players, media persons and VIP guests a better experience than before. As the tournament grows, CAN's responsibilities have also increased, Secretary Khadka said.
Preparations for this edition have been made to address the management problems seen in the previous edition.
