Sagendra Singh wins gold in Asian bodybuilding championship

Nepali bodybuilder Sagendra Singh has won a gold medal at the Asian Bodybuilding Championship.

He took first place in the men's 75kg category at the 58th edition of the championship being held in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to the National Sports Council (NSC), Singh won the title with an outstanding performance in his weight category.

This is Singh's second international gold medal this year. He had earlier won gold at the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding Championship held in Bhutan, where he competed in the 80kg weight category.

Nepal had won a total of seven medals at that competition in Bhutan, including three gold, three silver and one bronze.
