Today's exchange rate and fuel prices

According to the exchange rate set by Nepal Rastra Bank for today, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 153.01 and the selling rate at Rs 153.61. The buying rate for Indian Rs 100 is Rs 160 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

The buying rate for one euro is set at Rs 174.32 and for the British pound at Rs 202.64. The buying rate for the Australian dollar is Rs 107.55 and for the Chinese yuan Rs 22.79.

For major foreign employment destination currencies, Nepal Rastra Bank said the buying rates are Rs 40.75 for the Saudi riyal, Rs 42 for the Qatari riyal, Rs 41.66 for the UAE dirham and Rs 37.56 for the Malaysian ringgit. The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.68 and for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.29.

Meanwhile, according to Nepal Oil Corporation, petrol, diesel and kerosene are selling at Rs 200 per litre at the Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots. At the Surkhet and Dang depots, all three fuels are priced at Rs 199 per litre. The price of cooking gas remains unchanged at Rs 2,060 per cylinder at all depots.
