Four UML ministers resign en masse from Madhes province government

The CPN-UML has pulled out of the Madhes province government. Four UML ministers in the government resigned collectively on Friday.

The ministers resigned on the directive of the UML parliamentary party. Those who resigned include Labour and Transport Minister Sharadadevi Thapa, Sports and Social Welfare Minister Lakhan Das, and Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Mohammad Samir. Another UML minister has also resigned.

With the resignation of the four ministers, UML no longer has any participation in the Madhes province government.
