President issues two ordinances on science, technology and innovation, certifies one bill

President Ramchandra Paudel issued two ordinances on Friday on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers. According to a statement from the Office of the President, he issued the ordinances under Article 114 of the Constitution of Nepal.

The ordinances issued are: the Nepal Academy of Science, Technology and Innovation Ordinance, 2083, and the Science, Technology and Innovation Ordinance, 2083.

On the same day, President Paudel also certified the bill on the National Forensic Science Laboratory.

Five ordinances have now been issued and one bill certified within a week of the parliamentary session ending.
