Court orders former Prabhu Bank CEO Ashok Sherchan detained pending trial in three cases

The Patan High Court has ordered that Ashok Sherchan, then chief executive officer (CEO) of Prabhu Bank, be detained pending trial.
While hearing four banking offence cases filed against Sherchan, the court ordered him to be detained pending trial in three of them.
The order was issued by a joint bench of Justices Ganesh Prasad Baral and Raju Kumar Khatiwada.
Sherchan is a former chief executive officer of Prabhu Bank. In three of the four cases filed against him, the court has ordered his detention so that proceedings can move forward.
