26th national ITF taekwondo in Biratnagar, 170 players to take part

The 26th National ITF Taekwondo Championship will be held in Biratnagar on Asoj 25 and 26.
A total of 170 players will compete in the championship, organised by the Morang District ITF Taekwondo Association in coordination with the Koshi Province Sports Development Board. Of them, 90 are men and 80 are women.
At a press conference held in Biratnagar on Wednesday, organising association chairman Om Kumar Shrestha said preparations had been intensified to make the championship well-managed and grand.
According to Praveen Kumar Karki, central chairman of the Nepal International Taekwondo Federation and a member of the Koshi Province Sports Development Board, players from all seven provinces and three departmental teams will take part.
Organisers said the championship will feature both men's and women's events, including individual sparring.
