The ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has recommended legal action against three employees who held political party responsibilities while serving in government jobs.

Kabindra Burlakoti, chief whip of the RSP parliamentary party, shared the information through social media.

He said the recommendation was made after a complaint was filed with the party over an employee holding a party position while working at a public institution.

He concluded his message with the slogan "nation first."

The party has sent the recommendation for action to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and the concerned ministries.

According to the RSP secretariat, all three employees named in the recommendation are from Kathmandu.

The party has not made public the names of the employees or details of the institutions where they work.
