'Kabaddi 5' earns over 70 million rupees in five days

The film 'Kabaddi 5: After the Final Match,' directed by Rambabu Gurung, has earned well at the box office in its first five days of screening.
According to presenter Bansuri Films, the film's total gross revenue from its Friday release through Tuesday has crossed around 70 million rupees. The figure was made public by the production side itself.
According to the production team, about 260,000 viewers have watched the film so far. The QFX cinema chain had declared the film a superhit within just two days of release.
The film, written by Gurung himself, is produced by him along with Maniram Pokharel, Madhu Mijar and Bishal Gurung. This fifth installment of the 'Kabaddi' series features familiar characters from before alongside new faces.
The cast includes Dayahang Rai, Bipin Karki, Bijay Baral, Buddhi Tamang, Rishma Gurung, Srijana Gurung and Miruna Magar, among others.
Audience reaction, however, has been mixed. While some viewers have liked the story and presentation, others have said it did not live up to expectations.
The series' fourth film, 'Kabaddi 4,' had earlier collected more than 214 million rupees at the box office. The fifth film has already earned about a third of that amount in its first five days.
