TU proposes Rs 30.87 billion budget for fiscal year 2083/84

Tribhuvan University (TU) has proposed a budget of Rs 30,871,108,000 for fiscal year 2083/84.

The proposed budget is 9.77 percent higher than the previous fiscal year. TU's registrar made the budget details public.

TU is the country's largest university. This year's proposed budget has crossed Rs 30 billion.

Meanwhile, TU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa said that appointments at the university would be transparent and fair. TU also said that the process of making the provincial offices of the Office of the Controller of Examinations autonomous has already begun.
