Flood-damaged Rahughat hydropower project repaired in 11 days, production resumes from one unit

The Rahughat hydropower project, which was damaged by flooding in the Kaligandaki River, has had its repairs completed within 11 days, and electricity generation has resumed.
The project was damaged by the flood on Asoj 11. Following repairs, one unit of the project has resumed electricity generation.
Electricity produced from the project is being fed into the national transmission system via the Kaligandaki Corridor 220 kV transmission line.
