Dolakha terminates contracts for 22 long-stalled construction projects, to recover damages within 30 days

The contracts of 22 construction contractors and companies who left development work stalled for years in Dolakha have been terminated. The Charikot Road Division, under the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, ended the contract agreements.
The contracts of contractors who had taken responsibility for various projects but failed to carry out the work have been cancelled. Work on those projects had remained stalled for years.
The Charikot Road Division issued a notice on Friday informing that the contract agreements had been terminated. Through the notice, the concerned contractors have also been asked to complete financial settlement.
It has been stated that damages will be recovered from the contractors whose contracts were terminated within 30 days.
