Maddinson out for zero off 33 balls in Test against South Africa

Australian opener Nic Maddinson was out for zero despite facing 33 balls in the first Test against South Africa, currently underway in Durban.
Among Australian openers dismissed for zero in Test history for which ball-by-ball data is available, he has faced the most balls.
He spent about 49 minutes at the crease but could not open his account. He was dismissed attempting a cut shot off Marco Jansen's bowling.
Maddinson, who was included in the squad after Cameron Green was injured, has returned to Australia's Test team for the first time since 2016.
