PM Shah's India visit date not yet fixed, says Foreign Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that the date for Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen)'s visit to India has not yet been fixed. Ministry spokesperson Lokbahadur Paudel Kshetri gave this information at a press conference held at the ministry in Singha Durbar on Friday.

According to spokesperson Kshetri, the prime minister's high-level visit will take place at a time suitable to both Nepal and India. He said the ministry's groundwork for the visit is continuing, and that preparations for such visits remain an ongoing process. The spokesperson clarified that once the date is finalized, it will be formally made public.

The ministry had earlier said it was preparing an agenda for discussions on various issues of mutual interest and cooperation between the two countries during the visit. Spokesperson Kshetri said the ministry is also working on preparations and agendas for other high-level visits besides the India visit.
