G7 nations to release 100 million barrels of oil from strategic reserves

G7 countries have agreed to release 100 million barrels of crude oil and diesel from their strategic reserves into the market. The oil will be brought to the market within four months to control the global energy supply crisis and rising fuel prices.
The G7 took the decision following a warning from US President Donald Trump. The group, which includes the United States and other large economies, said the move would ensure an "adequate supply" of diesel in the coming days.
However, it is not yet clear which country will release how much diesel or crude oil out of the 100 million barrels.
