Congress convention: Voting pushed from 10am to 1pm as preparations fall behind

Voting to elect a new central working committee under the Nepali Congress's 15th general convention, scheduled for Thursday, has had its timing changed. Voting that was to begin at 10am will now start at 1pm.
According to Raju Katuwal, member-secretary of the central election committee, the voting time was pushed back because preparations for the election were not complete. Ratopati reported that the final list of candidates was delayed in arriving and the printing of ballot papers was also delayed, causing the postponement. According to Nepal Live, this is the second time the voting time has been changed.
The central election committee is set to hold discussions with all candidates for the posts of president, vice-president and general secretary regarding election management.
According to Nepal Live, voting for the new leadership will take place at three locations until 6pm. Today, the fifth day of the convention, voting is being held to elect the new central working committee.
