Nilgiri, Lumbini Engineering among 6 construction firms blacklisted

The government has blacklisted six construction contractor and supplier companies for failing to complete work on time and for violating contract terms. The companies have been blacklisted for periods ranging from one to three years.

The companies were blacklisted under a decision made by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office on Thursday, Kartik 12. Different durations have been fixed for the blacklisted companies.

Among those blacklisted, Nilgiri and Lumbini Engineering have been barred for three years. The remaining companies have been blacklisted for periods ranging from one to three years.

The office made the decision on the grounds that the companies failed to complete work within the time specified in their agreements and did not comply with the terms of the contracts.
