Study of 30 landslides in Myagdi's Annapurna Rural Municipality; Paudwar village surrounded by landslides on all sides

A preliminary geological study has been conducted of landslides in Paudwar, Annapurna Rural Municipality-5, the area of Myagdi worst affected by this year's monsoon-related disasters.

The study covered 30 landslides across Annapurna Rural Municipality, including those in Paudwar.

Paudwar village, which has more than 200 houses, is surrounded by landslides on all sides. Other settlements in the rural municipality also face an equally high risk from landslides.
