Rasuwa: Temporary wooden bridge linking Syafrubesi and Khamjing opens

A temporary wooden bridge connecting Syafrubesi in Rasuwa with various wards of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality has become operational after the Bhotekoshi flood cut off the road network.
The flood had severed the road network, blocking movement between Syafrubesi and the wards of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality. The wooden bridge linking Syafrubesi and Khamjing has been put into operation to ease the movement of local residents.
With the bridge now operational, residents of the wards that were cut off after the flood are expected to be able to travel to Syafrubesi more easily.
The flood in the Bhotekoshi river had damaged the road network in various parts of Rasuwa. The temporary wooden bridge will be used for local travel until permanent structures are built.
