Janakpurdham-Ayodhya special train service in final stages, to launch during PM's India visit

Preparations for a special train service between Janakpurdham and the sacred Indian pilgrimage site of Ayodhya have reached their final stage.

The service is expected to be launched during Prime Minister Balendra Shah's upcoming visit to India. Both countries are preparing to begin the service during the visit.

Once operational, the service will allow direct train travel between Janakpurdham and Ayodhya. Both cities are considered religiously significant.

Details on when the service will begin regular operations and what its schedule will be have not yet been made public.
