Federal parliament's current session to end tonight at midnight, final sitting of both houses today

The current session of the federal parliament will end tonight (Friday) from 12 midnight. President Ramchandra Paudel ended the session under Article 93(2) of the Constitution of Nepal, on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal's Council of Ministers.
Before the session ends, the final sittings of both houses of the federal parliament are being held today. The House of Representatives is scheduled to meet at 11 am at Singha Durbar, while the National Assembly's sitting is scheduled for 1:15 pm.
The House of Representatives' agenda includes concerned ministers tabling answers to oral and written questions that could not be presented earlier in the House. According to Bizmandu, nine bills are being presented at today's House of Representatives sitting.
Meanwhile, meetings of the House of Representatives' International Relations and Tourism Committee and the Public Accounts Committee, along with some committees of the National Assembly, are also being held today.
