Today's exchange rate and fuel prices

Nepal Rastra Bank has set foreign exchange rates for today, Saturday. According to the bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 153.01 and the selling rate is Rs 153.61. The buying rate for one euro is set at Rs 174.32 and the selling rate at Rs 175. The buying rate for one British pound is Rs 202.64 and the selling rate is Rs 203.43.

The buying rate for Indian Rs 100 is Rs 160 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15. Among Gulf currencies, the buying rate for one Saudi riyal is Rs 40.75, for one Qatari riyal is Rs 42, and for one UAE dirham is Rs 41.66. The buying rate for the Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.56, and for South Korean 100 won is Rs 11.29. The buying rate for Japanese 10 yen is Rs 9.68.

Meanwhile, according to Nepal Oil Corporation, petrol, diesel and kerosene are being sold at Rs 200 per litre at the Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots. At the Surkhet and Dang depots, the price of all three fuels is Rs 199 per litre. The price of cooking gas remains at Rs 2,060 per cylinder at all depots.
