Himlung avalanche: 3 more bodies found, death toll reaches 7, 9 still missing

Three more bodies have been found among those missing after an avalanche hit Himlung Himal in Narphu Bhumi Rural Municipality-5, Manang. With the bodies recovered on Wednesday, the death toll from the avalanche has reached 7.

According to the District Administration Office, the bodies of 58-year-old Aash Gurung of Gorkha, 21-year-old Suraj Rai of Khotang and 57-year-old Kalam Budha of Rukum have been found. All three bodies were recovered from the base camp.

Nine people who were caught in the avalanche are still missing.
