Budget still absent in Sudurpashchim, Congress objects; provincial assembly session put off to Asoj 24

Nearly three months into the fiscal year, the budget still has not arrived in Sudurpashchim Province. A session of the provincial assembly had been called for Wednesday at 5 pm to present the budget, but it was postponed to Asoj 24 without even convening.
The parliamentary party of the Nepali Congress, the main opposition in the provincial assembly, has objected to this, saying the government has failed to bring a budget even 55 days after its formation.
Congress has demanded that the government not introduce the budget for the current fiscal year until a clear order comes from the Supreme Court. It has also accused the provincial government of attempting to bring the budget through an ordinance.
