A Supreme Court justice had questioned the chief justice's discretion in constituting the constitutional bench. Following that, the constitutional bench did not sit at all on Wednesday.
The bench did not sit even after the daily cause list had been published. Although cases had been listed on the cause list, no hearing could take place since the bench did not convene.
