Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai arrested again from Bhaktapur residence

Medical entrepreneur and royalist activist Durga Prasai has been arrested again. A team from the Nepal Police Central Cyber Bureau, Bhotahity, took him into custody from his own residence in Bhaktapur on Monday morning.

Prasai was arrested over a statement he made against Rachana, a House of Representatives member from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). MP Rachana had filed a complaint against Prasai.

Based on the MP's complaint, an arrest warrant had already been issued against Prasai on Friday.

Prasai has previously been arrested repeatedly in various cases over his statements and activities, and has been released each time on court orders.
