Rastriya Janamukti Party accuses government of failing to control corruption, demands scrapping of two-day holiday

The Rastriya Janamukti Party has accused the government of failing to take concrete action on controlling corruption and good governance during its six months in office.
The party held a press conference in Butwal on Thursday to make public the decisions of its 12th national convention, held in Rupandehi.
Chairman Keshav Suryabanshi said the convention reviewed the government's six months of work alongside organizational activities. According to him, the government's performance has not been satisfactory in terms of efficiency, public expectations and national needs.
Chairman Suryabanshi remarked that the government has failed to take any concrete step to remove the frustration spreading among the public. He warned that if the working style does not improve in the next six months as well, frustration will deepen further across the country.
Recalling that the main demand of the Gen Z movement was an end to corruption, he demanded that the government take effective steps to control corruption. The party also demanded the immediate scrapping of the two-day weekend holiday arrangement.
