All political forces must unite for the country's development: Prachanda

Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', coordinator and chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has said that all political forces in the country must stand together to achieve all-round national development.

Chairman Dahal expressed this view while addressing a program held on Thursday at the NCP central office in Kathmandu.

Dahal, a former prime minister, said the political achievements won by the people through long struggle must be protected. He said the country's economic and social development must be accelerated, and that everyone must share the burden together when disasters strike.

He also said communists scattered across various parties and groups should come together in a single line. He stressed that party leaders and cadres must be ready to make any sacrifice to protect the gains achieved from the federal democratic republic.

At the same program, party co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal said the dream of a prosperous Nepal cannot be realized until discrimination in society is ended.
