Floods, landslides and storm damage 63 houses, including a ward office, in Galkot, Baglung

Floods, landslides and storm in the Galkot Municipality area of Baglung on Asoj 9, 10 and 11 have damaged 63 houses.

According to Galkot Municipality, the damaged structures include a ward office. The floods, landslides and storm over three consecutive days caused damage in various parts of the municipality.

The municipality has collected details of the damage and made them public. The municipality's records also mention that 133 other houses in its area were affected during the same period.

Following recent rainfall, floods and landslides have also damaged houses and infrastructure in neighboring Parbat and Myagdi, along with Baglung.
