Nepal elected vice president of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)

Nepal has been elected to the position of vice president of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

Nepal was elected to the post during the bank's 11th annual meeting of the Board of Governors, currently underway in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

AIIB is a multilateral bank related to infrastructure investment in the Asian region. The Board of Governors meeting is its annual meeting, being held this time in Doha. Nepal was elected vice president of the bank on the occasion of the same meeting.
