Landslide buries four houses, two sheds in Parbat's Lamabagar, one injured

A landslide struck Lamabagar in Jaljala Rural Municipality-7 of Parbat, adjoining Beni Bazar, the district headquarters of Myagdi, on Tuesday. The landslide buried four houses and two sheds.

One person was injured in the landslide. Sixty-five-year-old Atmaraj Sharma, who was trapped when the landslide hit his house, was rescued.

After the rescue, the injured Sharma is undergoing treatment at Myagdi's Provincial Hospital in Beni.

The Lamabagar settlement is adjacent to Beni Bazar. Detailed information on the damage to the houses and sheds buried by the landslide has not yet been received.
