Malangwa municipality engineer and supervisor arrested with Rs 100,000 bribe

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has taken into custody an engineer and a supervisor of Malangwa Municipality in Sarlahi along with a bribe.

The commission took municipality engineer Dikesh Kumar Yadav and supervisor Kaushal Kumar Madhukar into custody with a bribe of Rs 100,000.

According to CIAA spokesperson Suresh Neupane, the commission's team also seized Rs 33,705 of undisclosed source found with them.

Both of those arrested on bribery charges are employees working at Malangwa Municipality.
