On the sixth trading day of the week, Friday's gold price rose by Rs 1,500 per tola compared to the previous day. The federation said gold is costlier today than in Thursday's trading.
The federation fixes the price of gold and silver on a daily basis, and trading in the market takes place accordingly.
This rise in the gold price has come into effect in today's market just as the festival season is beginning. Various media outlets have published the news of the rise in gold and silver prices, citing the federation.
