Lumbini Province logs 78 disaster incidents in four days, 6 dead, 1,280 displaced

Lumbini Province witnessed 78 disaster incidents over the four days from Asoj 8 to 11. The Provincial Emergency Operation Centre (PEOC) shared this information.

According to the centre, 6 people died in these disaster incidents, while 1,280 people were displaced as a result.

Continuous rainfall during this period triggered floods, landslides and inundation in various parts of the country. The details of the incidents in Lumbini Province were made public by the Provincial Emergency Operation Centre.
