Himlung avalanche: Two more bodies found, death toll reaches 4

Two more bodies of climbers who died in Sunday's avalanche in the Himlung Himal area, in Narpa Bhumi Rural Municipality-5 of Manang, have been found. The death toll reached 4 after the search and rescue team of the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) recovered the bodies.
Earlier, the bodies of two others who had lost contact had already been found. Their identities have been established and the bodies brought to Kathmandu.
The search for the 14 people still out of contact has been intensified. Helicopters have been deployed for the search since early Monday morning. A 14-member team led by Mingma G Sherpa reached Himlung base camp by helicopter on Monday. The team is searching the likely areas around the base camp for the missing climbers.
