Government issues new procedure for direct bank transfer of sugarcane incentive subsidy

The government has issued a new procedure for distributing incentive subsidies to sugarcane farmers. The government has brought out the "Procedure for Providing Incentive Subsidy to Sugarcane Producers, 2083."

Under the new procedure, the incentive subsidy provided by the government to sugarcane farmers will now be paid directly into the farmers' personal bank accounts.

The government said the procedure has been issued to make the subsidy distribution process organized and transparent.

The procedure has been introduced in the context of ensuring a regular supply of raw material needed by sugar industries. Sugarcane is the main raw material for the sugar industry.
