Gandaki CM seeks federal support to reopen flood-damaged roads before Dashain

Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey has asked the federal government for resources to reopen flood-damaged roads before Dashain.
Chief Minister Pandey has requested federal resources to immediately restore national highways and strategic roads damaged by floods and landslides from Asoj 9 to 11. He has also drawn the federal government's attention to supporting post-flood reconstruction.
Heavy rain has killed 30 people in Gandaki Province. Floods and landslides have damaged dozens of roads and bridges, schools, government buildings and hundreds of private homes in the province.
Chief Minister Pandey's request shows that the provincial government's priority is to restore blocked roads as the festive season approaches.
