Congress disciplinary committee warns of action against anti-party activities during convention

The Nepali Congress Central Disciplinary Committee has warned that it will take action against anyone who works against the party even after taking part in the election process for the party's 15th General Convention. The committee issued the warning publicly as the election process for the party's 15th convention is underway.
Acting coordinator of the committee, Ramesh Dhamala, has urged everyone to stay away from undesirable activities that violate discipline. The committee's directive has been stated to apply equally to all, from office-bearers in various positions to elected representatives and ordinary active members. The committee says no leader or worker, at any level, is allowed to do anything that harms the party's interests.
The committee has alerted leaders and workers at all levels of the party on this matter. Coordinator Dhamala said the committee has learned that some individuals who have already taken part in the convention election are engaged in anti-party activities using the Congress name itself. He said the committee is treating such activities very seriously and keeping continuous watch on them.
He called on everyone not to do anything against the party's dignity and policy, and made clear that the committee will be compelled to immediately proceed with strict action against anyone who fails to comply with the directive.
